We’re Hiring
We only hire people that are brave enough to work among us - the Inovans. If you’re one of these rare ones, the ones who always want to explore the boundaries of technology (and beyond) or if you hate dull designs that are never both useful and nice, then you might stand a chance! If that’s the case, drop us a note with your story (or CV) and don’t forget to attach references to code and art that you created and are proud of. We're looking forward to hearing from you!
Engineering Candidates
We are hiring extraordinary engineers who want to build the best mobile applications on the market. You should be constantly excited by questions like: How do you display large amount of data on a device that has little memory? You should get excited about exploring and implementing animations that run at more than 20fps on megahertz processors. You should be able to design and implement applications that operate on multiple devices with millions of users using them every day.
Here’s a list of characteristics that we’re looking for in an engineering candidate:
- A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- English speaking.
- An entrepreneurial attitude that gets high-quality projects done quickly.
- Deep understanding, familiarity and skill with programming in C++, Java or .NET.
- A demonstrated history of intellectual development exploration.
- Be able to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code.
Design Candidates
A great design isn’t just about looking good - it’s a full understanding of how the applications we build interact with people that use them. An ideal design candidate will have a deep portfolio of design projects that demonstrate creativity and innovation.
Design at Inova IT is a combination of the following:
- Visual design. Designing pixel-perfect shadows and highlights on a rounded-corner button in Photoshop. Refining scanned illustrations, existing icons and logos.
- English speaking.
- Ability to rapidly prototype design ideas. Script language, HTML and CSS knowledge is a big plus. Or you should be really willing to learn them quickly.
- Consistent and well-thought. Every element in a design should have their meaning. If a button is blue instead of gray, you need to know why!
- Ability to communicate your ideas before spending a whole day photoshoping them. You should be able to use plain pencil and paper to construct and communicate ideas to the product team.
We’re a small team, and we’re looking for people to make big impact. This means you should want to take on lots of responsibility and be able to manage projects and produce solutions independently.
